With a background in drawing, painting and printmaking using traditional materials, my work has a vintage, hand-drawn, look & feel, inspired by Victorian catalogue illustration and silhouette paper cutouts. I use digital tools in combination with old-school drawing by hand, composed by human eye (no AI generated images here).

A native New Yorker, I’ve lived most of my life in NYC, apart from one damp and chilly decade in London where I learned to appreciate a nice hot cup of tea. When I’m not drawing, I’m a daily practitioner of T’ai Chi Ch’uan hand and sword forms, a SAG-AFTRA member who appears surreptitiously in film and television, a licensed tattooist, and an urban gardener.
