brief: Full covers, front and back, for workbook series.

solution: Each cover reflects subject matter of the stories inside, geared to middle school language learners. I wanted the images to be bright and inviting, while remaining simple and uncluttered. My original idea was to use a look similar to Victorian era silhouette shadow paper cutting; but we decided to go with a more colorful arrangement to appeal to younger readers. Samples of the original direction are included below.
